Where did the time go?

It has been a crazy few months. Stressful. Ever-changing. Pride-filled. And many other emotions. So many things have happened.

Wes was Pinned. Then we received Orders.

Bella had started preschool.

Bry got on a sleep schedule and then got off of it.

Mama...well let's just say I have been battling a very persistent sinus/ear/bronchial infection.

Many sleepless nights, followed by blurry-eyed days and as November approaches I realize how I really want to devote more time to my blogs and getting the little "projects" that have gone un-done, done.

I also realize how much of the kids' lives will change soon. For Bry, it will be an easier transition. For Bella, not so much, she has a hard time with change. It causes her stress that manifests itself in the form of tantrums, sleepless nights, and this little habit she does to go to sleep. I read an article the other day when I was trying to find any and all info on helping Bry sleep better. It actually fits Bella to a T. It was about gifted children, Though, I do not like titles for kids she seemed to fit all the qualifications...including the sleep issues. As I read it, I relived her short 3 years and the few issues that have stood out in my mind.

So that brings me to the title of this post - Where did the time go? It has been a long but swift 3 years here in Hawaii...Bella is almost 4 and Bry is almost 6 months. Where did the time go? To get all the things done I wanted to do here in Hawaii, where has the time gone? To enjoy induction and Pinning? To spend more quality time with the kids without being sick. Where did the time go? These last few months will fly by even faster. Then a quick trip to Cali and then on to the new chapter in Washington state. Geez...Where did the time go?

PCSing...

So its that time again...every Military family goes through it...
We are PCSing...Permanent Change in Station.

We are moving to the Everett, WA area and Wes will be stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln.

We have not discussed the move with Bella yet. She had a hard time understanding the concept of time and since we do not leave Hawaii until February it is too early to stress her out about it.

We will be in Paso for 2 months. In that time we hope to make a trip to Florida, another to Disneyland and give Bella her first "real" birthday party.

Even though we have just at 4 months left, there is quite a bit to do. I have opted to pause my search for work here, since even if I was offered a job at this point I would be leaving so soon that it is a waste of a company's time as well as my own.

My focus turns to getting the family prepared, making the most out of our time in Paso, and looking to setup "shop" in Washington.

Hopefully, Bella will be okay with all of this...
